Dissertation printing

There are two mono and one colour print stations in the 1A11a Student Print Suite. These printers print on good quality paper A4 size suitable for dissertations. Please refer to the table below for prices.

To print A4 mono and colour dissertation quality pages, select from the following queues:

You can now go to the 1A11a Student Print Suite and logon to the Print station there to print your job.

When your job has printed - please call Print Services on ext 7209 or email GraphicsandPrint@stir.ac.uk to book an appointment to bind your dissertation. Alternatively, drop in to our Help Desk in Cottrell Room 1A1 to discuss your requirements.

When your appointment time arrives, bring your printed dissertation down to room 1A1 in Cottrell Building. Binding takes around 15 minutes so we will ask you to wait or return at a more convenient time. Binding costs vary dependent on the amount of pages, but as a guide, 100 pages costs £2.00.

*If you require help separating your pages out, please contact the Information Centre in the Library on 7250.

Thesis binding is produced by an external supplier, please contact Print Services for further information.

Colour / high quality printing - list of charges

* Double sided is possible by selecting properties in the print dialog box (when you send your job to print) then selecting “flip on long edge,” from the “print on both sides section.”
